Chance has won several awards in his career thus far such as Grammy's and Emmy's - all except one have been based off his music. In 2017, Chance became the youngest person at age 24 to ever receive the BET Humanitarian Award for his dedicated work with Chicago, specifically the public school systems. Chance also personally donated 1 million dollars of his own money to the Chicago public school systems. By selling his music for free and his evident charity work, Chance is much more than a successful artist, but also a role model for many and an activist for injustices. In the video below, former First Lady Michelle Obama honours Chance before he receives his BET Humanitarian Award and includes the main points of his acceptance speech. Following this video, there are his two acceptance speeches from the 59th Grammy's - these are significant because Chance always thanks God for all of his accomplishments in his life as shown below.
